The incident occurred after a visit to the Dubai Frame, when the tourist realised he had left his fanny pack on the front seat of a taxi. From that point, the response from authorities transformed the situation within hours, showing the speed of Dubai’s public safety systems.
Swift response
Argentinian content creator Federico Mackay shared that he unknowingly left his bag behind after disembarking near the Dubai Frame. The bag contained two Argentine passports, a mobile phone, cash, and other valuable equipment. Once the loss was discovered, he reported the matter to authorities, setting in motion a structured process that would soon draw widespread attention online.

Dubai Police immediately initiated tracing procedures, reviewing CCTV footage from the area and identifying the taxi involved.
